Leg 2 - Loch Ness Update II
Saturday, 28th August 2010
1150 Just passed Urquhart Castle. Weather improving, although no sun as yet. Calum and Jonathan have taken off a few layers and are now paddling in T-shirts. The wind has died on the south side of the loch and the water is like a millpond. Both are feeling good and have relaxed into a rhythm. It is a very clear day and they can now see their destination at the other end of Loch Ness, Fort Augustus!
